Overview
The Project Electrical Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Engineer throughout the full design lifecycle-from initial concept to final delivery. This position ensures that all electrical design solutions align with client expectations, regulatory frameworks, budgetary constraints, and overall project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in leading the design process with the Senior Engineer from conceptualization to completion, ensuring the proposed solutions meet client requirements, regulatory standards, budget, and project goals.
- Produce design documents for various Electrical systems.
- Coordinating with internal disciplines.
- Attend and manage internal coordination meetings through online software.
- Demonstrate knowledge and appreciation of the scope of works across all disciplines including MEP, Structural, Design, Fire and Life Safety, etc.
- Leading the coordination process through BIM to ensure that all clashes are solved and ensure that the Revit model complies with project BEP by using the latest BIM software and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Membership In Engineering Authorities/Foundation.
- Experience of 6+ years at an Electrical consultancy firm is a must.
- Very good knowledge of BIM and drafting software such as (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Very good knowledge of electrical power software such as (ETAP, Amtech, Ecodial, Generator sizing, power factor correction, and lightning risk assessment)
- Very good knowledge of lighting design software DIALux
- Very Good Knowledge of the most common local codes and regulations used in the industry.
- Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package especially Excel sheets.
- Experience in golf projects is a must.
- Very Good behavior and technical skills.
- Very good English skills for meeting participation and daily communication.
