ELV Modeler responsible for developing and coordinating BIM models for ELV/ICTsystems, ensuring accuracy and integration with other disciplines. Supports design development, performs clash detection, and delivers high-quality technical drawings using Revit and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in drafting of electrical works in consultant companies.
- Professional and expert user for Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD Professional and expert user for Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Expertise in clash detection for ELV/ICT systems and effective communication of clash reports to the design team to resolve conflicts Perform design calculations for various ELV/ICT systems.
- Experience coordinating multiple Revit models and ensuring alignment between ELV/ICT services and other disciplines (e.g., MEP, structural, and architectural). Participate in preparing the schematic diagrams for different Low current systems.
- Responsible for creating and reviewing detailed design drawings, including:
- Containment systems (e.g., cable trays, trunking)
- Structured cabling layouts.
- Fire alarm, public address, and CCTV systems.
- Proficient in cable tray and trunking sizing, containment system coordination, and ensuring integration with MEP systems.
- Develop and detail ELV/ICT schematics, assisting engineers in resolving design challenges and ensuring that all technical aspects are correctly represented.
- Work closely with other disciplines, such as architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing, to ensure seamless integration of ELV/ICT systems in the overall project design.
Requirements
- High proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
- Awareness of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and its use in document management, model coordination, and collaboration workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel .
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure .
