Overview
Seeking a detail-driven professional with strong Revit expertise to develop coordinated electrical models and drawings across all project stages. Responsibilities include clash detection, parametric family creation, and multi-disciplinary coordination. Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and systems like small power, lighting, earthing and containment system and Lighting Control is essential. Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, QA/QC processes, and Add-Ins like Dynamo is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of the most common local codes and international standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge and awareness by the scope of works across all disciplines including MEP, Structural, Design, Fire and Life Safety etc
- Produce the electrical design layouts for various electrical systems.
- Participate in preparing the schematic diagrams for different electrical systems.
- Coordination with different Engineering disciplines (inter-disciplinary coordination).
- Ensure sub-consultants requirements are adequately incorporated in drawing packages.
- Modeling of electrical systems based on the BEP and coordinating with other disciplines based on the direction of senior staff.
- Must have in-depth detailed knowledge of local codes and regulations.
- Support Seniors in meeting agreed deadlines for documentation issues.
- Ensure all work is delivered to the correct standard and on time.
- Be proactive and suggest improvements or amendments required to the systems (QAQC).
- Manage own time and assist colleagues and senior staff when time allows.
- Highlight potential coordination/technical issues to the seniors at the earliest possible stage
- Ensure all documentation is in line with local codes and regulations.
- Fill out timesheets by the close of business at the end of the working week ensuring the information is specific to both the project and project stage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience of 3-6 years at an Electrical consultancy firm is a must.
- Very good knowledge of BIM and drafting software such as (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Very Good Knowledge of the most common local codes and regulations used in the industry
- Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package especially Excel sheets
- Very Good behavior and technical skills
- Very good English skills for meeting participation and daily communication.
