Overview
seeking a talented Design Architect to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing architecture (plans, masses, elevations and sections) for a wide range of projects, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout all project phases—from initial design through to construction.
Responsibilities
- Conceptual Design: Creating creative, innovative and aesthetically pleasing design concepts that meet the needs of clients.
- Project Planning: Develop initial designs, layouts, and presentations for client review. Work with clients to refine designs, considering their preferences, budget, and project objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, interior designers, and other architects to ensure the technical viability of the design.
- Design Documentation: Prepare concept architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Compliance: Ensure designs comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Client Interaction: Maintain direct communication with clients to ensure that their vision is realized throughout the design and construction process.
- Presentation: Present design concepts and final plans to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 2-6 years of experience in architectural design.
- Strong understanding of digital rendering and visualization tools is a plus.
- Proven experience in design architecture, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in residential, commercial, or public sector projects, Gulf region is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other design software.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, design processes, and building systems.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations, especially Dubai and Abu Dhabi codes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- LEED or similar sustainability certification is a plus.
- Experience with project management software and techniques.
