Overview
An Architect able to Produce concept, schematic and detailed drawings in line with project briefs and within agreed timeframes with direct supervision of senior architect.
Responsibilities
- Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer aided design (Revit, CAD) applications.
- Support the design development of projects from concept to completion.
- Assist on all drawing packages using Revit, BIM 360, Auto CAD and other production base program to ensure full coordination and technical excellence is achieved prior to issue.
- Ensure that technical knowledge is up to date with:
- Standard construction techniques and details.
- Construction techniques and details typical to Middle East construction.
- Be aware of new construction practices and their impact on details.
- Share knowledge of construction detailing.
- Research different supplier’s details.
- Responsible for all local authority compliance and code compliance.
- Responsible for utilizing correct design standards i.e. BS etc.
- Coordination with all sub consultant packages.
- Ensure sub-consultants requirements are adequately incorporated in drawing packages
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- 2-6 years of Architecture experience “with at least 1-year experience in GCC”
- Professional Registration of Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers
- Professional Registration preferred: Green Building
- Experience in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Autocad, InDesign, Photoshop and other drawing-based design program.
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills
- Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
- An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability
- Demonstrate ability to organize and coordinate projects.
- Ensure adequate knowledge of specifications in order to correctly annotate drawings.
- Ensure adequate English to ensure correct spelling and grammar on all documentation
